As a counsellor, I specialise in relationships and sometimes it is helpful to come by yourself for counselling. I am happy to work with you if your main concern is a relationship, whether it be partners, parents, siblings or friends.
Coming by yourself to talk to a couple counsellor gives you a space to talk openly about your relationship. It allows you to step back and evaluate your relationship. We can discuss different ideas about what can be improved, how to approach it and what can be changed.
Times when individual counselling can help:
- being in a relationship that makes you unhappy
- recovering from the end of a relationship
- ending a relationship
- starting a new relationship and how to avoid mistakes of the past
With individual counselling, you will be able to:
- discuss problems and concerns
- learn new skills and gain new insights
- consider choices available to you
- work towards change
